Art Class

A great outlet for your creative side. Whether you’re the master, or you’ve never picked up a paintbrush before, you’ll enjoy this relaxed group that meets together Saturdays 10:30 am to 3:00 pm.

Christianity Explored

An informal seven-week class held on Saturday mornings exploring the Christian message. Using Mark’s gospel, we explore who Jesus is, why he came and what it means to follow him.  New course starts on 30 July from 11 am to 12pm.

Daystar Early Learning Centre

A day care centre featuring Christian values and a caring and stimulating environment, including a fantastic landscape designed play garden.  Located next door to the church.  Click here to be directed to the Daystar website.

Indoor Bowls

We provide three for the price of one: bowls, Christian fellowship and bonding! Why not join us every Monday afternoon? We bowl from 1-30 to 3pm, followed by “coffee & cake” and away home by 3:30 pm. If you don’t know how to play – we’ll teach you – you don’t have to have the Gold Card to be one of us for the excitement and enjoyment.

 Mainly Music

Thursdays 10 am, during school terms. Popular music session for pre-schoolers and their caregivers, followed by a delicious morning tea. Because of it’s popularity a waiting list sometimes applies, but you are welcome to come and check it out anytime.

Parenting Courses

Facilitated by Parent’s Inc., ‘Toolbox’ courses run for six weeks. Contact the office for the next start date.

 Prison Ministry

Our small team is involved in taking four services a year at the remand prison in Mt Eden.  We welcome new participants to join us in this important ministry. “I needed clothes and you clothed me.  I was sick and you looked after me. I was in prison and you came to visit me.” (Matt 25:36).

LOST: Possessions, house, family, friends, language, culture, country … all that was familiar.

FOUND: Safety and security, new friends in a new community, a family of their own, a safe place to live, a new language and new opportunities.  In fact … the start of a whole new life.  YOU could be a key part of this process!  Become a Refugee support worker (volunteer).

Sew & Sews Ladies Craft Group

Wednesdays 10:00am-midday (cafe area) during school terms. Bring your own knitting or craft, or take part in a shared project.

 Welcome to New Zealand

As coordinator of this exciting program, I extend a warm welcome to anyone who wants to improve their English through conversation. Classes start at 9.30 am for Beginner and Intermediate levels, and Bible English at 10.50 am. Morning tea is provided. I look forward to meeting you soon. Blessings, Virginia Morey
